After a period of unfortunate problems with our previous main server, we decided to try to move to a new location, the new server is located in California and has proved stable enough so far. As it turns out, a bug that might have been triggering the old stability issues has been fixed.

After battling various small problems for the last few days, Aminet should now be working properly again. If you still encounter any glitches, don’t hesitate to drop us a note.

Some long-standing issues that people have noticed have also been fixed: searching for several keywords should return proper results again, sorting search results by date works again and a few minor glitches in the all-new, all-shiny web upload interface have been corrected. In addition parts of the code has been refactored, and made more robust. For more details, check the Changelog.
